Deleting mpc 1000 internal memory

Hello everyone. Obviously new here. Ive used the search funtion and what not and cant find the answer for my question. Im new so bear with me. I obviously want to delete all internal memory. Im reading the manual and it says that i can replace the internal sounds with user settings. Im alsotrying to get the autoload function towork but i think ill get that to work. Im just not getting it. I delete all seq programs sounds, i try to save that, andthen when i turn my mpcback on the seqs, programs, and wavs are there again. Is there anyway to get rid of everything already inside the mpc FOR GODD. Any helpin the right direction will be much ablidged
