The e5000 is tight esp with the rfx unit but BE WARNED like the asr 10 there are some bugs with this machine although minor. Mine always crash if I leave it on for an extended time. Asr 10's are tight but are old and buggy. Asr x's are tight but have timing problems. I hear the s3000 sounds like an mpc 3000 which has a lot of punch but if you like effects I don't know about it. The s900s are also pretty punchy.
There are things you need to consider when you buy samplers you need to consider the sound of the machine, the stability, and does it have effects, and compatibility.
My recommendation don't worry about compatibility, worry about the stability and the sound and the effects. Go to
www.synthsite.com and read a few posts. There are a lot of crazy comments but a lot of times the truth is revealed.[/color]
