loaded 24 bit files onto my 2500 and magic!!!!

They work great ...until that is i upgraded the os today now all my programs that i made previously on OS1.0 are complete static.....although the static is maneuverable....sick .....is 24 bit not supposed to work????...

called telephone support today and i swear Akai gotta stay up on their shitz cuz the people representing them dont know jack

2500 is 16bit. RTFM.

true by why would it work perfectly for 2 months on OS 1.0 then all of a sudden i upgrade to the new AKAI 1.10 (a.k.a bugs r us) OS and have all of it be static????.....i love the new usb mountable button so not having to connect and disconnect the cable for USB so its one of the other with akai .....spazzle

so you were playing 24/44.1 files with no problems?

yup....not one bit of a problem it was sick 24/ 44.1.....now nothing...but its cool i coverted everything to 16 already.......

woah really... this needs to be looked into. try going back to OS 1.00 and doing it again. ill try too.

i am on 1.0 and chilling with my 24 bit drum kits you can soooooo tell the difference from them to 16bit ...i am sticking to 1.0 although will miss the usb connectivity on 1.10......
