The Proper Way 2 File?

Can someone please explain what is the recommended way of setting up file systems . If you are not getting any errors what is your way of storage of files. A folder for each song containing what? Storing samples how? One folder for each type of sound...kiks ,bass..etc. Before you shut your mpc off, you save how and where. Please dont link other topics I have read every single thread on here conserning Wrong File Errors File Crashes and every other problem people are having. I think it is due to poor file systems causing directory errors......The manual does not really explain file systems at all , anyone?

I've asked Akai about this and didn't get any response from them.

I think there is another post about it here - you will have to search for it.

But its something along the lines of it supposed to support a lot of folders in the Root folder, but people here think that you may have limit the amount of folders you have in the Root directory.

Yeah, thats what I'm getting at ... the root folder seems to be the problem if it gets loaded up with some files it seems like it can't handel the load and corupts everything thats saved to it. So I geuss noone has a real system that works ...i thought maybe a couple of you guys knew what you were doing, I guess not.

Dont be so harsh. No one has figured it out because it is no one fault but AKAI'S. Simple saving and resaving to a hd is not supposed to act in this manner. It is a glitch that needs fixin and everyone is trying there best to work around it. Hopefully we get this situated, until then try helping out so we all can get throught this until a fix comes in a update.

Sorry didn't mean to come off harsh....This is driving people nuts and other people seem not to have any problems at all with wrong file errors . It is a glitch but only for some of us ....Why? I would like to hear what the guys not getting errors would have to say instead of the guys having the problem running in circles.
