S950 on MPC2000XL, YES or NO?

Is there a work around to play S950 disks on the MPC2K XL? (Sorry, if a repeat question)

Off the top of my head, I thinking you should sample the drumz/samples from the 950, or just trigger it with the 2kxl

maybe i am doing something wrong but my S900 disks doesn't work in my MPC-2000xl

S900 and S950 disks are not compatible with the MPC. I read in the manual that the MPC 2000 reads mpc60 disks, but I never tried it nor know anyone who did... I don't think it would read the 900/950 disks because they are 12 bit... probably won't read the 60 disks either, not to sh*t on what akai said though...
