mpc as master.
mpc midi out to fantom
mpc and fantom outputs to mixer.
mpc 2nd midi out to daw..
daw/mixer out to monitors/pc/amp.

connect Fantom MIDI out to MPC MIDI in (to send Fantom midi to MPC)

MPC MIDI out to Fantom MIDI in (to send data back from MPC to Fantom)

Disable the Fantom from sending MIDI data to its own sound generator (refer to manual) so that data goes straight to MPC. The data will then go from MPC to Fantom.

Connect both Fantom and MPC audio outs to mixer or speakers.

This setup makes the MPC the master sequencer (i.e. all sequence and MIDI data is stored on MPC) which is what i would do for fast and efficient production.

Good Luk.

Any more info, just ask!

You have to look in the manual for the setting called MIDI LOCAL, that one should be set to off.
