MIX DOWN

hey guys, i searched for about an hour now i' taking the easy way

how do i manage to mix my tracks inside the mpc?!
of course i know about the mixer function and the effects. but where are the EQs?!? I really need to seperate the freqencies!

normally I use a mixing desk with the 8 outs. but for playing the mpc in a live situation, i bugs me really bad to carry my mixer around.

so my idea is to use the internal mixer more... BUT as you might know there are no EQs!
how can i use the internaleffect board for that (it's sooo limited)?
do you guys use the filter for that?
and how do you resample it then?

or would you suggest to mix everything down via the mixing desk, record it into computer or a harddisc an sample it back to the mpc?!

there must be a better way?

its always good to level the beat out in the mpc before u track it out to a computer or multitrack to get a good idea how to level it on the mix. but as far as mixing it down on the mpc it isnt possible because it doesnt have eq's. resampling and fitering wont do it. it'll help with the creative process but as far as mixing with them FAGETABOUTIT.

Why would you need to record it back to the MPC? But yeah, mix all the tracks through a mixer or into a computer. Then record the final product.

Here's a lil' trick but you'll need to use a pc to eq.

It's along ting but it does work, get hold of your samples or your main sample sets & eq your most vital samples on Wavelab or Sound forge using a waves eq plugin' if you are experienced enough you should know what frequencies to cut or boost to make individual samples sit in a track.

Cut the eq's in your editor then transfer them back to the mpc or save them to your zip...

It does work & yes I know it's long, but the end results are amazing if done right.
