Man i dont miss my mpc4000 not one bit.

Having a MPC1000 and a Ensoniq ASR-10 by its side is way better then having a MPC4000.

Im sampling on the asr-10 adding fx then sampling my editied samples back into the mpc banging out tracks sound quality is great. drums banging hi hats ticken and snares crunching.then u realize its all coming out a black box small as a peice of paper.

128 Mb,Hard drives ,USB connection.

THIS MPC IS BY FAR THE BEST CUZ IF IT SIZE ALONE.

**** the Haters the mpc1000 is a workhorse.

:D

Just wanted to express how much i love the mpc1000BK.

Im real glad i sold my mpc4000 and bout a mpc1000bk,Esoniq ASR-10,Korg Triton Rack,

mpc1000 is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do u feel about ur mpc1000?

I feel like this : :D

For real i have gone from (10 years back in time) working with only an ASR-10, all the way thru some confused years using mainly software to buying the MPC1000 a year ago and now the MPC is the heart and soul of all the music I make, the sound, the easiness, the funkiness, the non linear way of making music, the portability, its just the most amazing piece of music equipment that i have ever used…

I have said it before and i will say it again, making music with the MPC is making music with your EARS and not your EYES… It hands on no nonsense, strictly a very very funky and amazing machine that makes me very happy everytime I sit down and get down

Check my projects and you'll hear it in action 8)

i'm happy with my mpc 1000 to... but i'm still thinking of selling it and buy a mpc 2500... just cos of the size, pads and extra outs.. Not cos i don't like the 1000 (i luv it). but sometimes i feel like i need somethin bigger to work on... anywayz yes the 1000 is a workhorse!

one thing i really can't understand though is; HOW CAN U SELL THE 4000 FOR A 1000???????????

I mean it's too expensive for me, but i'd love to have one! and u selling it??????? whaaaaaa! what am i missing??????? More outs, big screen, more functions etc..... WHY?

buying a sampler was the best move i could have made. jump started me into taking music $700 more seriously...

it is alot better then just a mpc4000.

The ASR-10 Kills the mpc4000 FX-Filters and LFO's

its very warm and phatt.

the mpc1000BK is amazing man sounds good .drums are crunching.

The Triton Rack i havnt used it yet the power cord should be here today(where the F u at fedex  .)

The triton rack came with 2 expansion boards already,

But sampling into the asr10 adding fx.tweaking it then sampling into the mpc1k when im done is a awsome combo.

The mpc1k sounds so alive :D

Yeah, I love my 1k too. A while back I was also thinking about making a thread like this, but I didnt have to do it, cause some people love their 1k´s too. (but 2KXL4Life you gotta change your nick :D

I realized how much I love my 1k when I tryed the 2k, man 1k is sooo much better than 2k. The workflow is just so fast, and you can do all these crazy things, slice, reverse, timestretch.... And Memory cards and USB kick ass too.
This is also because I´m used to it by now, and I was not familiar with the 2k. But still gotta love my 1k!!!

i love the 1K... i started out making beats messing around on software from fruityloops to reason, from logic to protools... i've tried em all, nothing compares to my lil blue miracle machine, i really love the hands on, it helps me get my ideas down in no time at one time my pc was the brain of my operation, now its slaved to the mpc... its a good all around tool... i use my 1K along side a Korg Kaoss pad2, a Korg EA1mkII (dont use it much, i picked it up for £50) and an EMU Planet Phatt (i picked this up on the cheap too)...

there is no battle of hardware verses software for me... the software serves the hardware
