tap tempo problem

my tap tempo button doesn't work while i'm holding down a pad to play a sample. anyone else have this problem?

Yeah it's a bit annoying that, not sure if it's supposed to work like that or not, though it would be handy.

yea it's annoying as hell. it works on my 4000.

I dont own a 25k but maybe u have to arm it in order for it to be applied to a sound. Im jus guessin so dont take my word.

Sav he means if you've got a long phrase, you cant tap a pad to play the phrase and then thap the tempo button in time with it to work out the sample tempo.
