I have this strange thing that happens i have a 8 bar sequence, playing perfectly.

i edited some of the bass drum notes at the end of the 8 bar sequence and some snares for some rolls (all separate tracks) , as soon as i move one of the bass drum tracks, notes the whole sequence is cut and i can only hear i bar of the 8 bar loop playing :?: :?: :?:

i switched the mpc of and on again and loaded my sequence, and tried it again ( moved one note on the bass drum track ) and boom , my sequence is cut in half , this time playing only 4 bars of the 8 bar sequence,,

i checked all the notes are still there, i have enough memory and i mean its only a 8 bar sequence so i cant be out of sequence memory either ( total of 16tracks )

Anyone have this before ????

YES, welcome to the club.

I've had this problem before - I even pm'ed sparq about the problem.

At that time I wasn't sure what exactly causes the problem - then someone mentioned (sorry, I forgot the name) that he experienced the same thing when moved notes.

After that I did a few a beats on my mpc and I also got the same problem again when I moved notes.

If I copy & paste them, the problem doesn't occur.

So by now - and with you also postin' this - I'm pretty sure that moving notes causes this bug.

And it's weird because all the notes are there - I could even resurrect a portion of my 8 bar loop by duplicating the sequence.

But I could only revitalize 4 out of 8 bars.

I sadly didn't have the time recently to pursue the problem and with the workaround of copy/paste, I could live with it.

Maybe you could hit sparq up and pass him these informations on.

yes the move features causes this bug. i still copy/paste and then delete to move stuff, just cuz i don't like losing my stuff.

however, since the notes are still there and everything, next time this happens try copying the sequence to another sequence and playing that one. this will be important to know.

Thanks everyone, yea tight to know it,s not just me,

Anyway i redone it 3 times so this time i saved before moving notes but when it happens again i will copy to a new sequence and see what happens.
