Digital I/0

Can i use the rca cables from like a dvd set, the red white and yellow cables. Im trying to run the Mpc through my mixer but using the digital outputs. Im wondering what cables to purchase because i hear people talking about spdif and RCA and digital cables.If you know what i need let me know whats up. also i just posted a cool microkorg bass pgm. on the forum for free.

I'm using a 10m cinch cable for 5 bucks and it works fine...

You do understand you need a digital mixer for this, right?

i dont think my mixer is digital but it does have rca inputs

if your mixer does not support digital sound processing, that being a digital in \ out via optical, spdif, rca, coxial, what ever.... then NO!

Your mixer might not support it but if your soundcard does your fine. I have yet to go buy a spdif cable but i plan on just bypassing my mixer.
