yeah i kinda made it from these 10 808 kits i got... seems to me that you never know which one is right till you hear it... so i layered a few of the ones i had and came up with that one... then i tracked out that one kick and and burned it down as a wav. file to make it one complete kick.

i got some sounds from a actuall tr808 a buddy of mine has at his studio then edited them and layered them to make my kit i think you have to do something to make it "your" 808 kit ya know.

yeah thats true... i never use the 808 kit just that one drum... i usually just listen to some records and take a snare here hihat there you know.

Yo, that kick was tight. I was feeling dat shit way over here man! Props homie!!! That beat was very commercial to me. Put a famous rapper on top of it and you got a million seller dude. Simplicity sells.
