tell me you do more than just that on every sample based beat. i mean, that's a valid production method, but for every beat? seems like you're limiting what's possible..

they usually go together why not take the shit from the same album first?

heh because it's easier (not always good) and makes your samples traceable...not to mention, you often end up with the exact same sound of the original album. you haven't really changed the mood, feel, w/e - you've just added hi hats and drums.

i can see where you're coming from but be careful with it unless you're really chopping the hell out of em.
