how do i edit and put whole songs on cd's???????

Hey guys,
I am kinda stumped on how do i edit and put whole songs on cd. My pc has a burner so i wanna transfer those files on my pc using a usb zip I have on my pc from my internal zip on my 2xl. Can anyone help me on this........
after the song is made on the MPC, how do I
a)load it onto my pc so my pc can reconize the data(songs and programs...)
b)I am getting a microkorg soon so can I use it as a midi to get it to a recording software program hence burning it on a cd..
c)I need recommendations on pc programs. I have cool edit pro. Is this enuf or do i need sonar or soundforge..?
I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback. I am kinda stumped cause I have 3 full songs that i wanna put online for listening.

1st off I suggest you do a search b'cos this one has been covered not so long ago.

A) You cant open the MPC files in your PC.....Those files are unique to the MPC...You have to record the tracks as audio (Refer to search)

Not sure I understand what you were saying about your Microkorg.... I tell you one thing tho...Midi is not sound. You will still have to SEQ your melodys etc into you MP then bounce the tracks into your PC (Refer to search)

To get your songs online/Burn CDs, use perhaps Soundforge as a recorder. Again you will have to bounce the entire mix via your mixer & Soundcard, save the file as audio...Either link the file to soundclick or whatever webspace you have or for burning, open it in a burning program like NERO 6 and burn to CD (refer to serach for more details)

as for the microkorg question.. I was told that would help??? Im new to this so i guess i believed him somewhat??? but as for the recording would u recommend a pc program or a recorder such as a vs880?.would i still need soundforge?thanks
