I just bought a brand new MPC2500 after selling my 1000. DAMN it's worth the money!
BUT..... The bottom of it is quite uneven so its rocking from upper right corner to lower left corner. I have to fold a piece of paper to keep it steady. Do you experience the same thing? Or can I have it fixed or something?

That sounds weird. First make sure the surface you're placing it on is really even. If it's really the MPC, I would try to exchange it if the store you bought it from is nearby.

If that doesn't work, removing the middle rubber foot on the bottom plate might help...it looks like it is only attached with a piece of double-sided tape. But remember you may void your warranty if you do so.

mine is like that too but I am using a brc stand so I didn't take mine back just for that. You could easily fix this problem by taking them off and reattaching them with a little dab of cement glue or something of the like but make sure it is level before adding the glue.

My DPS24 (made by Akai) is like this, but I just used a peice of paper lol! Oddly I only noticed this after moving it to another desk! Prior to that I do not recall any problems with it, and my MPC sat on this same desk wihtout any issues.

Like someone mentioned above, you may want to make sure your desk is level. I think I am going to do this also when I get home.

it's when it goes through the furnace, the additional heat can sometimes cause warping.

I use to have a mpc4000 with a uneven bottom.. i can't believe the 2500 would have the same problem.. :(
