cd of sounds

i have a audio cd full of mpc sounds..Is there any way to get these sounds into a program for beat making without me having to sample each sound one by one....thanks

Are you trying to put them into a computer program and make the beats on your computer? If so as long as they are in wav format u can move them from mpc to computer and vice versa

nah actually im tryingto load them into my mpc without sampling every last one and doing the trim and edit thing..theres atleast over 500 sounds. thanks

What you are going to have to do is use either a burning program or something like Soundforge to convert the audio/cda to wav. format.

why not put the cd in ur comp, drop and drag on to a floppy, or zip, till full, bring it t the mpc, load. repeat process(i do it with a floppy, it takes a couple of times doin it over and over, but better than having to sample and trim)

didnt know it can be done like that...i thought it would mess up the naming scheme or something ..i know when i did this vise versa in the past it made a mess of my programs and seq and i lost alot of work..will give it a try

If you are referring to Captkickass's post you are correct. You will need to rename any file name over 8 characters long.
