One...I chopped a few drum loops I made in Fruity Loops the other day and noticed that when I assigned them as one hits to pads (a snare on one, kick on another) I wuld hold the pad and the drum would play continuously. I checked in the programs and they are set to "note off" but I cannot change them...other pads I can change, but those I cannot I was wondering why? The other question I have is that when I have my recording software open (Cubase) I cannot hear sound from anthing else...I noticed this while I wanted to listen to a song in i-tunes while Cubase was open, I couldnt hear it, nor could I hear any of Aol sounds or any other sounds...any help would be great, thanks.

This is because they are set as loops. Open up TRIM mode and turn 'loop:' off.

Don't know about the computer thing. But it sounds like it could be a simple fix.

don't know about cubase specifically, but did you check your input settings/ preferences?

In Cubase? Where do I check it and what should it say? The reason I want to know this is because I want to use some of Fruity Loops sounds and sequence it over the MPC via MIDI and track out to Cubase, but the sounds wont play when Cubase is open. Thanks.
