i'll appreciate any help I can get thanks

Change parameter of sample to MONO.....It sounds like you got it on NOTE OFF

That should do the trick

I think you're refering to a note on/off function...which on the 4K is ...I believe...a "mute field" activity...or a mute group.

In the 2Kxl it was easy to set this up...but I too am wondering how to do it on the 4K..

Anybody??

aww
read the topic i ve launched today bout mute group problems! i think i misunderstood your post! actually you want your samples not to cut each other off (and they do) and i want mine to cut each other off! ... and they don t! damn ...at least my ones sometimes cut each other off!!
your operatin on os 1.50! right? how does it work? do you use any external devices? i was runnin it one evenin! so not much experience with that! in my case actually nothin was really workin as it should! midi synch completely down!
and i remember that after i set the synch thing off i encountered very similar if not the same probs as you described above! ...that was enough for my 1.50 experience! got back to 1.45! so i think your prob is related to the os 1.50 - even if i don t know for sure! if i were you i d try bravo s suggestion!! ...or return to 1.45 too! 1.5somethin hopefully comes out soon ... and better!
cheers

HAHAHA aint that about a ****
yeah this seems like a 1.50 problem because im the only jackass who keeps insisting on using it. the on problem I seem to be having is when I have a bass line or string line loop going from my proteus 2000 some note out of nowhere comes into action and in order for it to go away I either have to hit that key on my controller or turn the proteus of and then back on. you ever have that problem?

the reason I am having such a hard time letting 1.50 go is the pad mixer along with the use of effects to the pads

well, ... my advice: forget 1.50! what for do u need a part mixer if ur samples do not even trigger right? there are many other things in this machine u can mess around! ... hold on a few weeks with 1.45 and mess around with the part mixer after the next os release!
