For F^%$K SAKE! My pad number 9 is not working properly! when I hit pad 9, nothing hapens, i can tell it doesnt respond because when i go to program the pads, and i hit pad 9 to load a sample, it doesnt do anything. All the other pads are working fine. Ive triend everything. i have even performed a factory reset. Any suggestions please?!?

By the way, isnt this what use to happen to the mpc1000?

Do you have any outboard midi equipment which you can test this pad with?

Check the velocity of the Pad in the Other Mode. But if you've factory reset... hmm.

COuld be broke.

I had problems with the pads too. When I pushed A2, it was triggering the sound assigned to pad A13 asweel, and a lot more troubles. I was sure it was a hardware-failure, something with the sencors under the pads.

But went to the musicstore, and got a new mpc :D

Yeh, i dunno what the deal is, whats wierd now is i left it off over night and riht when i woke up to go retest it, it was working?? I have no clueee what was happening. Hey Prinsfisso, when you exchanged your mpc where did you get it from, and how long have you had it before you exchanged it??

I had the same expirence; When the pad-problem came up, I messed (?) around for a while on the mpc and suddenly it was working properly again. The problem apearred for only a few minites.

I bought it in a musicstore in Copenhagen (Denmark), and I had it for about 2 month before the exchange.
