you mean it stops recording, or the sample cuts off when you try and play it after you record?

if it stops when you're recording, you probably need to set your recording time higher than 10 seconds

Have you checked the Trim mode if the sample is intact or if it was cut during recording (in Record mode)?

Is the sample cut before the sequence has looped back to the first beat?

Is the sample cut when another sample starts playing?

Answer these questions so we might get a better idea where your problem might come from. It´s kinda hard when you give as little info as above.

Give us something more! Can´t whine like a baby about something and demand help and not giving the situation in full!

Is the sample cut at the same moment every time?

Are there any other samples playing alongside it?

Are you sure the pad is set / not set to "note on"? Are you familiar with the difference between "One Shot" and "Note On"?

How long is the sample?

Have you tried to assign the sample in a fresh program without any editing of the parameters made by you?

Get that thumb out of your mouth and get into this! When you run into problems: Stop and think. Eliminate possible problem sources one by one. Work methodical.

And if you ask for help, and really wants it, not just some public weeping: Give the full situation. Explain what you have already tried to do to eliminate it. Answer the questions, each and every one of the, that people ask you as it is crucial for our understanding of the problem.

You´re the only one sitting in front of the MPC, we don´t know shit about what´s going on. If you think it´s to much work typing ouut your problem; give your mother the manual and let her sit beside you and solve the problems, thus making the music for you. Sure beats shouting empty words here.

Just checked your myspace page and saw you were just 15. I didn´t mean to diss your age, just your attitude of stressed out laziness.
There´s people a lot older than you who also suck their thumbs and need their mothers by their side in explaining the enigmas of the MPC.

leme restate this aight , ok i record a synth from reason to my mpc , i have my other samples and tracks i made to that beat , keep in mind i made 2 bars for my drum beat , when i change the beat to 4 bars and try recording the sample , it cuts off , this can also be a possibility of a bug on the new Os cuz its happened to me several times.

you're still not telling us anything, man...it's not a bug because it hasn't happened to me. the bug is in what your hands are doing.

step by step, now.

tell us how you record reason into your mpc, what you do next.

tell us exactly how to recreate your problem, and we'll tell you what you're doing wrong.

i record it through analog on [mode] record , and i did record several samples with it you think it causes it to act funny , i think it reacted in cuting off the sample i wanted to put on tha track . Its simple all im sayin is the sample is only playing half of wut i sample from when i try recording it , o yea i also record everythin from tha begging , pleases tell me i explained it better.

ok. so it's RECORDING the whole thing
but only playing half. right?
go into trim mode. does the full thing appear there?
if the full sample appears, try to play it by hitting and holding any of the pads except for the top 4.
does the full thing play?
