does the microkorg hook up to the mpc via midi and would i be able to record basslines etc, or would i need a mixer aswell?
sorry but im kinda new to hardware.

yeah but you're gonna need a mixer.

yes you need a mixer unless you sample the bass into the MPC.

oh yeh i seen a guy do that i think, then u can play a bassline with the pads on the mpc?

yes but you will have to sample the notes and map them. Its better to just get a mixer.
