hard drive for 1000

if i get the hard drive for my 1000, do you have to get the hdm-10 (adapter) no matter what brand hard drive you get???? also looking for the cheapest way to get my finished beats to a cd....... can an external cd-r/rw be connected to the 1000 via the digital out to the cd-r's digital in??? or do i have to get a mixer with a digital output??? or can i get a cd-r(internal or external) for my gateway pc and cop a cd ripping program(if not included with cd-r/rw)??????? Please help... Also everytime i c someone whos just starting out(and has some idea of how beats are made) or some richboy who wants to be like Dr Dre and dont got a clue what an mpc is) i c these peoples dumb/lame/ inexperienced questions answered nastilly.. and instead of an answer all they get is some static!!!!!! I thought this site was for us mpc users to share info,tips,tricks,etc and to help the new cat who just walked in the crib wit the mpc still in the box( and no food in the house cuz you done spent up all ur funds on some equipment). I dont think my questions are dumb so if anyone can help me....im pretty sure the hard drive cant be installed without the hd-10,right? the more and more i read and soak up whether its from this site and its posters/members, or scratch mag,remix mag,etc, or just searching the web and applying some common sense and some musical knowledge and im starting to figure out s@#t my self, but the question about recording finished compositions to a cd is what is Kausen Much Konfusion, im supposing i can make a poor mans 1990 or before recording from my mixers outs to an ol school pioneer double cassette player/recorder... or if i could find an old tascam 4-track or somethin at a pawn shop or used gear joint... right??? I can do that... i mean my experience on the 1's and 2's( real 1's n 2's not 1's n 0's{cd turntables!!!}) makin mixtapes for my boys and then 4 anyone who wanted one and had some loot 2 cop it. i did that by hooking up the tape deck to the mixers rec. output..... Correct me if im wrong...cuz thats one of the many reasons we come to this site/forum!!!!! ".... I gotta grip but the only clip I load be the floppy disk in the SP or the MP---C 3 G hoez c me comin in 3-d...."

let me tell you how i record beats to a cd. I just record into to a phillips cd recorder thru analog (the same shit as your tape deck xcept a little better quality sound). very simple cheap and easy. If you wanna get fancy wit it and go into computer and digital shit --- thats not me, cant help you bro.

yo juxt, muchos gracias...... so your hooking a standalone/stereo component type-cd recorder hooked into your mixers analog stereo outs(rcax2)? or if you had a dig coax out or dig optical out on your mixer and dig coax in/dig opti in on the cd recorder (as well as the rca ins)?? c i come to this site to hook up with cats thats like me and i know most cats out there (unless they rich or know someone who is) cant afford to run out at the spur of the moment and grab an mpc and a synth. plus most of yall(just like me) didnt want to produce overnite anyway its somethin you been thinkin/dreamin about for years... and i trust the words and advice of y'all over a salesman at Guitar Center who's gettin commission of yo a$$!!! so once again,THANXXXX

i'm not too sure what ur saying. i don't know about digital coax or digital optical, like i said - What i do is basically the same shit as recording into a tape deck,xcept its on cd. just hit a record button to start -then hit the stop button to stop.

I'm not too sure what u were talkin about with mixer either. But most of the time i dont use a mixer, unless i need the eq on it.
