i read through a lot of info and tried out several attempts to fix this myself but to no avail so i turn to my mpc brethron. I have recorded a 8 bar sequnece then i decided i only wanted to keep 6 of the bars so i truncated down to 6 but the rest of the sample just plays into the first 2 bars? I checked in the options to make sure i had sample plays till end of seq on but i cant figure out why it says its erasing data when its not. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks. i will post a new free program later for the help.

you might want to check that the sounds playing into the first 2 bars of your sequence are set to 'note on' and not 'one shot' in the Program window... press 'MODE' then pad 7 'PROGRAM' select ya pad with the sample thats not doing what you want it to do... highlight ya sample press the 'WINDOW' key... and change....

Assign a empty (sampleless) pad to a unused mute group in the program, assign the same mute group to the pad with the sample you want to cut out.

Place a note of the empty pad on the first tick of the first bar of the sequence.

Sample will cut as seq loop / restart.
