from Keyboard to MPC and adding beats.

I got myself a mpc 2000XL

ok 1 last time from the beginning

hook up midi wires

Synth out mpc in
mpc out synth in

Now go into the multi layer function on synth
go to part 1
on the mpc swith from drum to midi
switch to device 1a
record your synth into mpc
once thats done you need to go to part 2 on your synth
now go to track 2 on your mpc and change drum to midi
change it to midi device 2a
record your synth
Now if u want to use sample for track 3
leave it set to drum and just record

Bassically your midi tracks on the mpc need to be the same as the part your on in the synth
