how do you trim with out spinnig the wheel 100000 times

how do you trim with out spinnig the wheel 100000 times? i read how on here a wile ago but can't find it! i know you had to hold something down or something like that??

tab down to either your end point or start point (which ever one you're editing) hold down shift and use curser to bring editr (nt sre of correct terminology ) to the point where you want to go to (usually for me its 3 digits (or to the decimal point ....hope this helps........

never mind i got it THANX FOR THE FAST RESPONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

in the new os all you have to do is hold after and slide the q link slider the top is start time and the bottom is end. only works on the new os.
