I orderd some neptunian drums off mpcsounds.com loaded the files in ok but when I get to the load page and try to load the folders on my mpc It loads about 30-40 wavs then says (and this is with just the sounds the mpc came with) insufficient memory anyways why ? I have a 128 card grrr this really limits me. and how can dump the sound that are preloaded withwhat it came with out?

What are you referring to? Do you have a 128 mb Compact Flash card or a 128 mb RAM extension? There´s quite a difference what the two do, you know.

If you have a 128 mb RAM extension I salute you for possesing some of the world largest 16 bit drum samples.
If you´ve bought a 128 mb Compact Flash under the impression it would make it possible to work with 128 mb of samples within the MPC you´re in for a disapointment. That move is like getting a 120 gb HDD to your 64 mb RAM PC and hope it will speed up and work smoother.

I've noticed over the course of time that threads like this come up alot. But I'm not gonna dog anyone for it, since there's a chance that quite a few of these people with this question may be more familair with Roland gear that only use cards as opposed to the way the mpc is set up. Just an observation and an educated guess. 8)
