Its a drum machine. Can you like hook it up to your mpc and use the pads? That way, I could get some realistic hi hats and other drum hits.

Yeah dude! Just connect a midi cable from MPC midi out to SR-16 midi in, select midi mode on SR16, page to "drum in" page and turn this on!!! HTH>

Why not get samples from the SR-16 and load them in the MPC or jus sample the sounds into the MPC. But i mean if u want to have an extra set of pads then thats on u. But the SR-16 does have some nice lil sounds on it.
