Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

:?: ok I dunno here .. but akai has made an offical anoncement on the os 1.5 release and its up for download on both the us and internationl sites .. correctme if I'm wrong but wasn't it only awalible on the japanise site,.. so is this the real os1.5 or is this just the same buggy os1.5, I'd think they'd call it 1.55 or something unless thery'r going with looks..

AKAI announced it, but that's all. It's just a product announcement. I downloaded the file to see if there were any changes. The history file in the Zip still dates the release as "2003/12/24" and the bin file has the same byte count.

Was anyone from MPC-Tutor at NAMM? What did AKAI run OS 1.50 on? A blue MPC4000 or the white one? The Harmony-Central page has the blue MPC on it.

The latest news on Yahoo! has another surprise. It looks like AKAI is getting ready to leave all the white MPC4000 owners behind. To run OS 1.50, you'll need a blue MPC4000.

The guy was joking about the OS only being for the blue MPC. I'm sure you know that.
