assiningh different notes to pads

aight ive got this nice dimensional piano key. when i use the note variation slider i get different notes n make my own melody with the different notes of the same key. the way im doing it is very difficult n is hard to keep rhythm. What id like to do is to assign different notes to different pads so i could play it easily like a rea piano so to speak. how would i got about doing this?

hit the 16 levels key, the sreen will pop up, hit the pad the note is on, down cursor, not variation/tuning, original key, whichever pad u want(i usually use key 8, for the original so i have 7 keys higher, and 7 lower)
