recordin seq ??

the deeper i go with my mpc2000xl studies more and more questions pops up in my head. Heres one.
When i'm recording a base line how can i set up the pad so that the sound plays the time i'm holding the pad down? Now i have this about 5seconds lasting sample and it plays it entiarly when i hit the pad. ??

In your Program's PARAMS screen, change the "voice overlap" setting to NOTE OFF.

Page 126 in the manual.

i was browsing my manual for 15 minutes with zero results, but there it was too close, thank man :D
