Need help assigning drum kit to pads efficiently

What up yall? I know how to assign my drums to pads but I have a whole bunch of different drums that I have separated into 16 for each folder (to fit the amount of pads). I want to go through one of my drum folders (with 16 sounds) and assign them to pad bank A, then move on to the pad bank B without having to go through the pad bank A.

Hope this isn't confusing. So just imagine going through like 20+ folders of drums sounds and trying to assign them. Is it possible for me to just go through one folder at a time? Also, I tried saving Programs & Samples, but when I go to load it, nothing happens. Am I saving/loading correctly?
