grey mpc60 arm rests?

hey i'm curious about this. I just got a 60, actually extremely nice as i spent little for a Fully upgraded MK1, it's got some stickers on it(i'll figure a proper way to take these off, they're geeigh like a "no fear" sticker. why do people put shitty stickers on shit...)...

but one thing is the arm rest is greay, not like the darker blackishgray that's on my other mpc60... i wonder what coulda made this grey? i do'nt think they had ar un of light grey colored ones. maybe it was left out by a window too long and ti lost it's color?

it doesn't feel as nice as my other one's arm rest too.

It is very easy to replace that fake leather with real leather.
I am planing to do that (I got old black leather jacket).
In a close future I am also planing to paint/refresh my 60.
60 mk1 is beautiful, and specialy with earphones jack, it needs no
stickers, maybe just plaque with words: limited edition

I think if I repainted mine I'd go with the "data entry" font for the whole thing.
