Sounds...???

i guess i should of researched it more before i bought into my mpc 2500 but i expected WAYYYY more sounds from it initially than what i got...mind u...this is my first drum machine, and i mainly stick to the keyboard synthesizers where everything u need, sounds and all come with it out of the box.....ANYWAYZ....do any ya'll kno where i can download some good sample kits for........FREE....these sound sample limitations are killing me and i need some more drums ASAP...plz respond...

if it came with loads of drums, dont you think peoples beats usin mpc would be a bit more samey? the 4000 i think comes with no sounds, its all about finding your own, theres loads of places, you can sample off records or download or buy soundpacks, ebay has some, mpc-sounds which sponser this site also sell sounds, if you wanna download free ones use ur p2p or if u have any music software on your pc put the wav sounds from that on if you like them, if you have reason, get a refill unpacker and use some drums from there, the worlds your oyster. hope that helps bruv.

The time it took you to write your post is all the time you need to jack every kick & snare off of any cd.

Create your own signature sound library. Free samples are mostly wack anyway.

When ya get ya library up, PM me & we'll do some swappin.

Nope, not at all.
Good samples can come from anywhere.

Timepeice, samples can be found on the internet, everywhere. take time to look and find some.

Doesn't it have a cd that comes with it?!? I have that cd?!?!

The whole point of a sampler is that you can take sounds from pretty much anywhere and anything.

I wasn't expecting any sounds at all with mine so was surprised when i did get some.

I would also try sounds4samples.com they have the most usable sounds I've heard fo drum kits. Also check out bigfishaudio.com for drums, loops and efx.

but someone on reading this will no it. its like MPC1000 kit of the week or somin but it works on the 2500 APPARENTLY so go wild

Hmmm, you know what would be nice. Is if in Trim Mode you could apply the FX and then render a new Sample. OOOO - Akai!

Would be easier but i don't think they'd do it as it doesn't take that much longer to add the filters/fx then resample it by recording the main outs.
