Does anybody know what scott storch uses?

In case you don't know he used to play keys for dr. dre, but anyways does anybody know what equipment he uses?

He used to play the keyboard for the Roots, he's working on Dre for that Detox album and he already did a lot of famous joints like Ja Rule's "Clap Back", Beyonce's "Baby Boy" and he co-produced Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" with Timbo

He also did a crazy joint for memphis bleek new album called"we ballin" and also did beyonces "me myself and I".

Are you sure it's in the latest issue of the source?

Its in the December 03' issue of The Source with WESTSIDE Connection on the front cover. "Me, Myself, and I" is a hot a$$ beat! Storch got hella mad at Justin Timberlake cause during the awards when Justin won for the song "Cry Me a River" he only thanked Timbo and not Storch (even though Storched co-produced it). Stroch said and I quote "Justin Timberlake will never get another Scott Storch track" owell, thats Justin's loss...peace

IF thats his personal studio thats the understatement of the year. (an SSL at a pre-production studio, nah)

well, I was only speculating

and a SSL is basically those huge expensive ($100,000) mixing boards with 64 channels or more.

The Roots fam has Tritons and lots of ole Skool gear like...Rhodes E-Pianos and Wurlies too. Scott probably has a bunch of new and old gear. Dude can play the piano so beautifully. And now, his drum programming is ridiculous too.

Glad to see him get his due.

so what does he use

Don't really know details.
Haven't been to their spot lately.
And ain't been to his spot at all.
I can tell you this....
that with Scott, it ain't about gear.
He's got serious skills.
And over the years he has combined his skills as a keyboardist,
with drum programming, with little tricks in engineering
and most important, songwriting.

As for gear, again, I'd say a mix of ole skool
or vintage stuff and some of the latest toys too.

Scott uses whatever is the latest...greatest....on "2001" he used tritons.........and if i am correct tritons had just dropped like 3 months b4 2001 came out

Prah's right, he uses a Triton (Studio version). I get a product newsletter from Korg everytime they come out with new equipment. He was a featured artist along with Peter Gabriel, who uses the Karma regularly. I'm sure Scott uses other equipment, but for the most part, the Korg Triton Studio is the main piece.
