I just installed my mpc2000xl and I try to treat my gear the best possible way.

Does anybody use a dustcover or something acting as a dust cover for their mpc?

I searched the board but couldn't find any topic regarding dust covers...

Call these guys, they make custom dustcovers for anything.

The cost for a dust cover 405mm X 106mm X 331mm would be 15.95 + 6.50 for shipping.

I just took my mp apart to install some parts and the amount of dust in between the pads was scary. Im keepin it covered with a towel from now on.

Just checked them out and they can put a photo on the dustcover for you. I want covers that have lifesize photos of the thing being covered.

But seriously, I just use an all cotton (less static) towel for my mpc and tilted rack gear.

I use the soft foam-type sheet that the MPC comes wrapped in when new. Monitor cover sounds like a good cheap way to go about it.

Sheets and towels are cool but if your anal about it you'll soon figure out that fabrics collect dust themselves.

 T-shirt is fine plus you're gonna have to clean your mpc every 3months anyway.
