you need to buy a 256mb ram module in order for the 1k to recognize 128mb. that's because the 1k only reads 1/2 the ram. read the sticky topic and it'll explain all you need to know.

alright , so it says 64 on my screen that means i can put the 256 stick in and it will add more ram and the screen will say 128 correct. Alright now when i switch my old one because i just ordered the one that was on the sticky form do i lose all my samples from my previous stick or what. How do i do it. Thanks.

Anyway NO u WON'T loose ya samples on the old stick cos THERE ARE NO SAMPLES ON THE OLD STICK!

When u load samples from the HD or cf card, it will load into the memory, when u turn the mpc off there gone!

JUST PUT THE STICK IN AND UR DONE!!!! NOW STOP WITH THE STUPID QUESTIONS MAN! Damn!

READ THE GODDAMN MANUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes you save samples on the cf card , this is an easy thing man read the sticky it helps alot. 8)
