hi guys,
i'm having a problem when laoding some sequencies. i try to load them and it's displaying 3 different messages :1-end of file/ 2-insuficient memory/ 3-SYSTEM ERROR¡¡.
i was working on those sequencies 2 days ago with no trouble. i have 128 mb ram, and i still have like 100 mb when trying to load those so...i don't understand.
shit, i can't work on those....
would really appreciate your help.

ps: i have a couple of gigs coming and i'm praying for this not to happen on one of those days.

I was getting this one time when loading - the mpc would come across a particular sample and throw END OF FILE errors.

When loading watch it and see what file is loading - if its a sample u may be able to delete it from the mem card and replace it

or atleast thats how I fixed mine.

thanx hypes,
you're right, when its loading a program it comes to certain sample and would stop loading and display: end of file. so i was loading the samples into the programs manually and it all seemed ok.
then i wanted to load a sequence and it comes with the same shit, and it's here that the message end of.....is followed by messages: "insufficient memory", and then "system error". after this the 1k freezes.....
lost my sequence???? :x
i hope there's a solution for this........

Yeah, there's another thread about the MPC not playing the last bar. It seems to happen after extensive step editing, copying, moving etc. Booty bug. My work around saving as SMF then USBing to HDD and importing to Nuendo then RE exporting as SMF and RE importing to MPC. Phew. Better than losing a sequence though!

my 4th bar went mute without step edit, copying or moving anything. i just recorded a sequence, worked a couple of times on it and saved it. one day it just dissapeared, so i re-recorded..........three days after that it dissapeared again so i re-recorded for the 2nd time. now it seems safe........for how long???
