i have a an MPC 1000......
as for Fruityloops... i actually use that as well...and guess what... i love it.

it has better timing (than MPC's) due its extremely cheap but rather tight internal sequencer based algorithms..

Have u gone mad! If thats the case, y do u own an MPC....
Hmm, Im not sure about you man!

some of the best british drum prgrammers for UK Garage and Drum and Bass swear by it.

And who are they??

Wookie (Top Uk Garage Producer) dont use it

Shy Fx (Top D&B Producer) dont use it

Im not buying that...Yea FL can get a good little job done and theres nothing wrong with it but the kinda 'top producers' I wanna hear 'swear' by it are the 'top' ones.

Anyway, thats another story!

ok Im done arguing.......

SO IS IT POSIBBLE TO FIT IN A 750m ide drive on the xl's????
By Roopesh Wed Jan 21, 2004 5:16 am
but alot of the TOP so called producers that you would like to hear of...probaby don't even make their own beats...they get things done via others as well.

like the so solid crew...yeah they can easily put a beat together...no doubt...

but you and i both know who tightens the ish up.

its the engineer.

the compression dynamics,
eq,
ghost notes here and there,
the panning,
high passes, low passes, etc.

not always the producer.

you make a Fruity beat....then put it though 1000's of £££ of outboard...and you wont be able to tell who made the beat using which gear.

That dont justify your comments

The known producers I know, make their own shit....Ive seen a variety of programs in action but never the FL thing.

Certain people are still putting breaks together in modplug tracker.

There aint nothing wrong wit the engineer working his magic...If he knows how to tighten up my shit, Id let him too.

Look at Timbo....Jimmy D's doing something right over there...Whether its ghost notes or what its working - Plus, its his job and he's gettin payed to do it

Wait, doesn't the 1000 have shift timing and step edit?
