Best quality of synths for 400$ range

native instruments is not a program, its a COMPANY...

does the micro korg have bass in it or should I get something else for good bass sounds

Im not sure you would get much better value out of anything else for only 400 other than the micro korg.


my suggestion is to save more capitol and just buy a triton le/motif. The micro korg is essentially the triton just with alot less effects and patches

Ive had both and they are identical

and how many acoustic samples could you find in the microkorg???
and how many oscillators could you find in a triton???

i got the microkorg and a novation a station(rack synth). the novation is cheaper but id go wit the microkorg. the basses are ill.

I'd get the Roland JP-8000/8080

That thing is a MONSTER and u could get it for round that price

Obviously there isn't going to be acoustic samples on the microkorg. but as far as the patches they are the exact same in the triton le and you can do just as much editing if not more with the IFX and the assignable knobs.

All blow the MicroKorg out of the Water (of course, I AM an analog head)
and I would personally rather have anyone of them over a triton. You might not get all the "bang" for the buck that you get with the Triton or MicroKorg, but you will get the BANG if you go analog!!!!!

The microKORG uses the same synth engine as the MS2000.

The JP-8000/8080 is a virtual analog resembling the sounds of the Jupiter-8. So if you like those Jupiter-8 sounds but don't have over $2000, you'll definitely like the JP-8000 for what it is.
