ive never used another mp other than the 1k, but when you turn the master EQ on, its like magic for real

I think the 1000, 2000/XL, 4000 and probably the 2500 all sound to similar to even notice let alone put any value on the difference. The 3000 and 60 have characteristic sound which alot of people will favour.

mpc60 sounds the best, mpc3000 second,a nd ther est they all sound like poopoo butter...

I've used a 2kxl and a 60.

The 60 def sounds better.

That's irrelevant to this conversation. Were talking about the color added by the dsp and converters. Of course a better producer gets a better overall sound. But machines have an inherrent sound as well.

same here... sold the 2kxl for a 60 and never looked back...never used a 3k but thats the only other mpc i would ever consider if my 60 ever died and i couldnt find another one..
