Computer And MPC2000XL Question

I'am new at tryin' to use the MPC and CPU together. I recently bought the Midi Mate USB Connecter. Everything is hooked up proberly but i cant get them to link together properly. Can anyone help me? The programs i use are

Reason 2.5
Fruity Loops 5 Producers Edition

I want to know tips on usage for my MPC for either program.

But you can use Reason and your MPC together. Its a tutorial on it. Try typing "mpc and reason" in the search box.

If not hit me up on AIM(missdjcoleycole) or Yahoo(misscc803)
