i checked for it and couldnt find nothin on it , they should put grid edit on the new Os for the mpc 1k , that would be tite.

Would you use it alot on real songs or would it just be tight?

I'd never use it cause I'm too used to real timing it.
Step Edit to me is the fine tuning and tick adjustment.

It's a nice feature but i admit i don't use it all that often, only when i cant get something to sit right.

I never use it for drums

honestly, step edit is awsome. I use it allmost all the time....either to do a quick pad replacment, or just to re edit some previously layed out pads...
