I purchased my 1st MPC last week & whilst reading the forum I've noticed some serious differences in the prices people have been paying in the UK. Just to say, if anyones looking for a good deal I got mine from rubadub records in Glasgow. I paid £780 for the MPC 2500, £125 for the CD writer, and £85 for the 128MB RAM expansion. The prices they had advertised were £945, £150 & £100 respectively but I managed to haggle them down fairly easily. I was really happy with their service & received all products the next day & they even fitted an 80GB harddrive which I purchased from pyramid.com for free aswell.

Paid £790 for mine about 6 weeks back from Digital Village in Birmingham

Bought the RAM for £50 from classifieds, paid about £70 for an 80gb hard drive

I want the cd drive but there's no way in hell i'm paying over £120 for a £30 laptop drive. Getting on fine without it at the moment.
