What is an OEM

I hate to start a new thread up about this really simple question but when I am looking at these hard drives I see something next to the name "OEM". What does this mean?

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacture, its for companies that put together computer systems. They can buy the stuff cheaper without the manual and fancy packaging.
