Problems of synchronization

Hi , when i try to synchronize my MPC 3000 in midi mode with Cubase SX2 , she's accelerates and i don't know how to make her synchronize...
When i try whith a MPC 2000 Xl , i have no problems...
Can somebody help me ?
I have a session of studio in one week...

So ... you're trying to slave the MPC3000 off CUBASE SX ?

Send MIDI CLOCK from CUBASE SX only. Don't send MTC at the same time as MIDI CLOCK.

Yes i'm trying to slave the MPC.
But i send only "midi clock " from Cubase SX2 , i don't understand why the 2000XL has no problems of synchro...

I hope that is not my OS version who can make this problem ?

Hmmm ... shouldn't be a problem.

Make certain:

MPC is set to receive only MIDI CLOCK on one of its ports.

Make certain that MTC reception in the MPC is disabled.

Be sure you're not creating a MIDI loop that is recirculating between computer and MPC as this could create the effect of doubled tempo.

The problem is solved , my MPC runs well in Slave with MTC mode , not Midi Clock , i don't know why but now it's good...

Could indeed be a problem with the older ( 3.03 OS ) in your MPC3000.

Or another flaw in the clocking functions of Steinberg products ...

Depends on what you're trying to achive.

MTC is a "position in time" based protocol.

MIDI CLOCK is a "tempo based" protocol.

Swings and round-abouts for both.

It seems people are getting better results with MTC over midi clock. When i said 'better', I meant accurate positioning relative to separate tracks.
