Master level

Ok when I record my beat in my mpc (record main out) when I listen to him as a wave file in my computer it seem like the volume is lower than the original so my question is.Tonight I was messing with my mpc and in the other option I went to global and I see master level how your master level is set 0db -6db?I'm wondering if it's was my probleme cause it was at -12db.Thank guy

If thats the case why dont u just edit the .wav file and amplify it.

in my global settings for master level i changed it to 0db, that way when i resample i get all the original boom boom. try it out

Amplifying or normalizing the wav already recorded isn't the same as recording it as "hot" as possible. You may introduce noise if it was recorded at a low volume. Turn up the main volume (set it to 0dB if you have to) and record it as loud as you can without clipping (going past 0dB) the signal. You can always lower it in the mix.
