actually we're all right. in the music worls Synth is short for synthesizer but in the english language Synth is A pre-fix that stands for artificial or recreated...... eg.. synthesizer, synthesis, synthetic, etc.....


Not trying to give out lessons i just have a thing against artificial.....

Synthesize: to combine or produce by synthesis

Looks to me like you've given me definition of words, i'm talking about the "origin of a pre-fix". Anytime you put a word after a pre-fix it changes the meaning, that doesn't take away from the origin.


This is the definition of synthetic according to answers.com. as you can see the key words are "Not natural, Artificial,contrived, Counterfeit, etc..".
