so i was lookin on ebay last weekend for a new machine ..not entirely new because i still have my 60 mk1. just looking for something to use in conjunction with it when i dont feel like doing it all on the 60 .
well i sold my 1k to a friend so i had about 700 bucks from that,
now im surfing on ebay lookin at a mpc 4000 or mv 8000, couldnt really afford a 2500 new so i didnt mess with it,well i let several of these 4k and mv 8 auctions roll by on me,thinking to my self i shoulda got that one,
then out of boredum i search mpc 2500 and it brings one up that has 5 minutes left and the bid is at 850$. i start to think maybe its a scam then i look at the sellers feedback and personal website.so i decide to bid,
i ended up winning it for 1,000 bucks. it got here a few hours ago and i love it
.its really a nice piece of gear.i had took out my hd and ram from my 1k and kept it for the 2500 so all i need is the cd drive to max it out.. 300 dollars and the 1k got me a 2500, i feel so lucky and kinda in shock, hahah its used but seems brand new. anyhow i had to share my story. i never thought i would cop one of thse for 2gs but now i got one and it kicks ass.!

Yeah....what they said.

I just hope that this isn't a lame attempt to get peoples money by convincing them that MPC 2500s are being sold for $1000 on eBay. Yes, there are plenty of scams so be careful of what you are purchasing. Accounts get hijacked everyday.

nah i got it from that miller music place. they had it up for auction on ebay,i think people were just affriad to bid on it because they didnt think it was legit. i just took the risk and it paid off, i was affraid that millermusic might pull something on me as to not give me the mpc because it was only 1g,but thats what they get for putting no reserve.they probly hate me hahahah,
all is good, spent the after noon makin beats on it,i like how the mute group have a dedicated button on the panel, and the q links,,shit is nasty,i could rant for a minute but i wont hahaha, its nice

I stayed up until about 4:00 in the morning to bid on my 2500 (new in box), there was 2 mins left and the high bid was at $960. I probably would've gotten it for under a grand, but someone bid at the last second and pushed up my bid. I still won it for $1,375.00 which is still a decent price..... though, I would've liked to have it for the price you paid for it, too. Funny how only 1 other person bid on it in the last few seconds, if he didn't I would've got an even better steal. Oh well, congrats on your low priced 2500. sh!t is pretty dope, huh?
