Question about floppies for the 2000

Hey I just recently bought some sound kits offline, and the guy said that they are in .wav format, which makes it to use for the 2000 & 2000xl models. But just now when i was looking online, one guy was selling .snd format disks. I have the OS 1.72 version of the operating system, does that make the difference. Thanks for the Help.

The 2k will read .snd and .wav files. But if the sounds are in folders the 2k wont read it. But whats your question. And you do have the latest OS installed.

Thanks so much you answered everything I needed to know. Are there any specific blank floppies that I need to buy, because I found some new sounds online, that I want to store onto it. Thanks!

The regular floppies that u use in a computer floppy drive will work.

Usually Labeled:2HD(or something HD) (1.44MB)
