Custom Grundorf MPC2500 Hard Case

check out this custom case i ordered from grundorf for my mpc2500. with the photo of the model number, any of you should be able to order the identical case. it's really nice, and has recessed handles and a 4" slot for cables etc on the right hand side. the store's selling price should be around $219.99 and the suggested retail price is $349.99. this thing is built like a tank.

looks like grundorf took a turntable case and modified it very efficiently. they make really durable cases, so i'm sure it's well worth the money.

Very nice..!.but do you think the q-link controls and record/volume will get messed up during travel????...i am leaving on a trip soon and need a good case ?

you can special order this from any grundorf dealer. name a major store, i'll bet it's a grundorf dealer. you already have the price and the model number. if you give them that info they can get you the case. i got mine from george's music (i work there).

quite pricey tho, i think il stick to my softcase more than enough protection unless your going on a plane and you cant take it as hand luggage, but i think i cud take mine with a softcase as hand luggage.

theres also a similar company in the same area that sells sh!tty cases like that. i'm more than willing to bet that it's the same company.

Cases are one of the highest marked up items in music gear.
I posted this a while ago but if you want a good, durable case
(not ata rated) this company makes gun and av cases.

They'e VERY well buit and quite cheap. I use them for a lot of gear including my 2500. Just look for a case w/ 17" or 18" x 14' x 4.
They have about 10 cases w/ those dimensions.

this thread has actually inspired me to go to home depot, get some parts and some plywood and build one. should be pretty easy

Because not everyone has a table saw, router, glue sprayer and a joiner jig and even if they did, maby they're not nice with em.

More often than not , it is MUCH more expensive to build things like that in a once off situation than it is to just buy one.

Plus they are some very nice injected molded abs cases that i doubt you have the capabilities of building.

Don't forget to post a pic of the "man case" when your finished.
